Dinner with the Cobb family with Elder Oliver
This week was crazy we were up in the north part of our zone all week. Transfers are this week. Sadly, I have to say goodbye to Elder Oliver :( I am getting Elder Myers he is from Huntington Beach so it should be fun putting to California people together haha.
We had a very crazy week with having a lot of stuff to do up North. On Wednesday our Zone is getting split so now we will only have missionaries here and in Quincy which is only about 15 minutes away. Our zone was 4 hours from one end to the other.
Yesterday was one of the greatest Sabbath days I have had. It started off with studying about my Savior. One of my favorite chapters I read was in 2 Nephi 4. Nephi a prophet talking about his weaknesses and how he overcomes them with confidence in the Lord. I have thought about it a lot when Nephi is talking about how sin does so easily come upon him that the words he says are Awake my soul no longer droop in sin. If we say these words in our hearts with love for our Savior we will be able to overcome the temptations as we focus our thoughts on our Savior and In His love we will be lifted up. Also, Yesterday Jessica came to church ( She is doing so well and is so prepared) She was sitting in our 2nd class where we were talking about keeping the sabbath day holy and was loving the class participating and everything. After class our Group leader asked her to teach the class next week, haha. She is not even a member yet and will be teaching the class. She is the most excited person I have met who is going to give a class next week haha. Things are going awesome here the work is truly amazing and I have never been happier to serve my Savior.
